Q&A 01
What is photobiomodulation?
Photobiomodulation (PBM) is a non-invasive therapy that uses red and infrared wavelengths of light to stimulate cellular biological processes.
Photobiomodulation
Using photobiomodulation through the eye makes it possible to stimulate the activation of higher brain areas, spreading beneficial substances throughout the body.
Research
Light, in the same warm frequencies emitted by the sun at dawn and dusk, is studied by Roberto Pinelli as a treatment for ocular conditions such as age-related macular degeneration (AMD) and other maculopathies. For several years, however, his research has also led him to use photobiomodulation, above all, as a means of stimulating the epiphysis. This gland, also called the pineal gland, is in fact sensitive to light and acts as a true conductor of our cellular dynamics and self-awareness [1].
Light stimulation that awakens the cells. In his clinical experience, Roberto Pinelli has observed that photobiomodulation of the epiphysis, carried out through the portal of the eye, generates a cascade of bio-regulatory effects. These include modulation of the endocrine system, stimulation of cellular respiration, and restoration of the physiological balance of the entire organism [2]. By transmitting light information to the pineal gland, systemic regeneration and rejuvenation can therefore be achieved, together with renewed psycho-emotional centering.

Photobiomodulation (PBM) is a non-invasive therapy that uses red and infrared wavelengths of light to stimulate cellular biological processes.
By penetrating through the portal of the eye, photobiomodulation reaches the light receptors present in the pineal gland, located at the center of the brain. The light stimulates activation of the gland, which releases a range of substances and hormones into the cerebrospinal fluid. These substances spread throughout the body and promote cellular regeneration, supporting well-being, health, and rejuvenation.
